The more we focus on ourselves, the more miserable we become.

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
John 17:15-16 (ESV)

Satan is trying to destroy all alliances with God, and he is good at what he does. He uses deception, lies, innuendos, emotions, and circumstances to get our eyes off the prize and onto ourselves. Social media, news, and lifestyle are used effectively to discourage and disconnect.

The more we focus on ourselves, the more miserable we become. Jesus made us be lights in the darkness, meaning that we live contrasting lives that cannot be ignored. The Scriptures tell us that Godless people will prefer darkness over light.

Loving God unleashes Satan while surrounding us with God's protective arms, and His arms will always be stronger than Satan's lies.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
