What is God asking you to do today?


Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground. 
Exodus 14:16 (ESV)

God is asking Moses to do something he can do. God never asks us to do something we cannot do. He leaves the miracles to Himself.
My job is to know and obey God's will, not to part any Red Seas or create world peace.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
