Resources Have A Purpose

Mary, therefore, took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.  John 12:3 (ESV)
Mary gave, and the evil people were angry, and all people were affected by her generosity.
Evil people are evil, act hateful, and the more "anti-evil" someone is, the more that evil people are roused to action.  Yet, the consistency of kind and generous people eventually envelopes all those in their presence.
Mary loved Jesus and anointed His feet with her remarkable, fragrant offering, and that fragrance infiltrated the entire house for the aroma of generosity affects many.
We must never allow skeptics and haters to win. Those who love God should always act like they love God, for our actions demonstrate that the generosity of God Himself was well used.
Mary understood the purpose of her resources and her life. She ended up using both well.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
