Hard Times
He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
John 6:6 (ESV)
God is not waiting on our actions to make His decisions. He knows what He is going to do and will do it regardless of my participation. The "crisis" of food was not a crisis because Jesus had a plan to care for the needs of all who were seeking Him. We may not see or understand the plan, but we should never doubt there is one.
Hard times allow us to trust what we know over what we feel. The real tragedy is not knowing God and, therefore, not being able to trust. Time spent with God is always a wise investment and for now, the choice is ours.
