If we believe in Jesus, we listen to Him.


So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 8:31-32 (ESV)

A disciple's sincerity in his professions of discipleship is proved by the disciple walking according to the Master's teaching. If we believe in Jesus, we listen to Him. If we do not believe in Him, we do not know Him.
 
For now, the choice is ours.

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
