Enjoy the Sunrise

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12 (ESV)
 
Walking in darkness when there is light available is foolishness. We need not stumble through life. We need not be confused, angry, uninformed, and lost.
 
Those who know Christ know how to live. Those who enjoy Christ can enjoy life, and will not fear death.
 
Jesus spoke these words in the early morning hours when the sun was rising, and light brought clarity to the new day.  I encourage you to enjoy the sunrise often, and to ponder the truth of this verse and the hope we have in the "Light of the World."

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
