Patience

By your endurance you will gain your lives.
Luke 21:19
 
Those who know God have patience or endurance. We may not know precisely how the victory will play out, but we know we will experience the victory.
 
Many verses in the Bible speak of patience.
"Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city." Proverbs 16:32 (ESV)
"Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." Ecclesiastes 7:8 (ESV)
 
Patience comes from knowing, meditating on, and applying truth. It is a natural byproduct of those living life the way it was meant to be.

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
