Our hope is secure

And he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. As soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Luke 21:29-33 (ESV)

Those who look for the signs will see the signs. God is evidenced through nature and history. The prophecies of the Old Testament have been fulfilled, and the promises throughout the Scriptures are specific.

The world is wearing out like a garment, Man seems to be in the Tower of Babel, and Sodom and Gomorrah mode, and those who love Him are looking for Christ to return.

Our hope has never been in a Godless world system and is not dependent upon anything that changes. I am thankful to be a part of God's plan, to be wanted, not needed, and I look forward to the day when our victory is secured.
