We all want to know that our lives matter. So, when we see Jesus, we will long for the words "Well done, my good and faithful servant." God will not lie, so we lived well if we hear those words.
 
Every person is created with a purpose, and Satan will do all he can to hinder us from accomplishing this purpose. He always works in ways we find acceptable, and cleverly weaves life circumstances into distractions from our purposes.  The Godless believe in randomness and can never find lasting purpose in any activities.
 
God created me, wants me, and has plans for me. I need to always live in the context of this truth.
