God did not make this life difficult to navigate.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 3:18 (ESV)
There are two types of individuals in this world; those who have understood and responded to the Gospel, or good news, and those who have refused to accept Christ's precious gift. There is no third category of people; all fall into one of two.
If you say you believe that Jesus is God's Son, yet do not trust Him, you are a fool. If you do not believe Jesus is the Son of God, you will be proven a fool.
God did not make this life difficult to navigate; Satan does. From the beginning, Satan has tried to confuse the simple, blur what should easily be focused upon, and obscure the obvious.
The simple truth is that I either have placed my trust in Christ's finished work on the cross, or I have not, and this trust is what has put me in one or the other categories.
Security is found in Christ, not me; for that, I am thankful.
