Abundant Life

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV)

I am in God's family because of God, His mercy, grace, and faithfulness to the undeserving. Being a part of God's family demonstrates my significance and provides security-two things I could never do on my own. All that I have is a gift from God; like any gift, it is unearned and undeserved.

Anyone who boasts of themselves is a shallow thinker, for all that is good, all they have is from God, and any boasting should be about Him.
God gives us the gift of salvation and His precious Word. God's Word allows us to see how we were created so we can live in the context of our purposes. We were designed to toil or work beneficially.  Our work is not meaningless, and we will be rewarded for working as we were meant to work.

Without God, life is meaningless, and death is a disaster. Without God, we suffer from anxiousness, depression, confusion, and purposelessness.

Jesus is the only way to God and, as a benefit, the only way to an abundant life. For now, the choice is ours.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
