Because of love…


For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God's is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23 (ESV)
 
Our sin separates us from God. God's gift gives us eternal life.  Sin always separates us from what is right and how it is supposed to be. Sometimes we wonder why God gave us a choice if He knew some would choose to live apart from Him. Yet, love demands choice; without it, we would be meaningless robotic beings whose decisions would be pointless.
 
Because of love, we get to accept or reject God's gift of payment for our sins. Our choice matters. What choice have you made? Will you accept God's gift and allow God to love you, or will you go on your own through this life and be terrified for the eternities to come?

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
