The Joy Of Children

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.           Mark 10:13-16 (ESV)
Children have always been the "least" of these in our world. They have no power or authority. One would not try to gain their favor in order to win elections, make a financial gain, or gain status in this world.

Children are those in whom we invest, whom we love, and with whom we work towards the development of their God-given potential. All children are valuable, created by God with tremendous significance given to them by God. Children are not a burden but a blessing. They are not to be endured but enjoyed. They are not to be used but loved.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
