Participate In The Victory!

Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was.
John 11:5-6 (ESV)

Jesus was up to something. He is always up to something. Jesus is never random.

Mary, Martha, and Lazarus had a great relationship with Jesus. There is no doubt Jesus could heal Lazarus, yet He chose to stay with His plan, and delay His visit to them.

To the casual observer, Jesus was not living in a way that showed He cared for His friends.
Yet, God's plans are perfect, and God had a plan for Lazarus and His illness and death. Our lives are always full of surprises, yet there are no surprises to God. Our lives are full of questions, yet there are no questions that God has not already answered. We often lack understanding, yet, once again, God does not have that problem.

Those who go to Him and rest in Him will see and participate in the victory God has planned.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
