Intentional Ignorance Fuels Confusion

Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover to purify themselves. They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, "What do you think? That he will not come to the feast at all?" Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should let them know so that they might arrest him.
John 11:55-57 (ESV)

Religious people guard their "status" regardless of the cost. Religion uses people; God loves people. Religion cost us everything; Jesus paid it all. Religion is full of self-promotion and hatred for others who challenge your position. Christianity is about God and love, even for your enemies.

Those who hated Jesus prove the need for Jesus' death and resurrection. We cannot help ourselves, and while we did not even know that, Jesus came to die for us.

Intentional ignorance fuels confusion, despair, anger, depression, and anxiety. There is no need to remain ignorant. Those who seek God will find Him. I invite you to join the search.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness

Hope in a King?
