Simple Advice

Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
John 2:2-5 (ESV)
 
Mary knew who Jesus was. Mary knew that Jesus could solve any problem at any time for anyone. Mary knew exactly to whom to go when trouble arose.
 
We cannot allow ourselves to be stifled because we do not know how a problem will be solved. We need to focus on Who it is who can solve the problem, and encourage those who experience the trial to do as He says.
 
This seems like simple advice, and it is. This sounds like something anybody can do, and it is. This looks too good to be true, yet it's true.
 
If I seek God and listen to Him, He will carry me through the problems of life. I can do this.

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
