God does as God says,

The Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Genesis 21:1-2

God does as God says, no matter how feasible we think it to be. So get used to it, for it is the way it is, and you can do nothing to alter His plans or methods.
He always comes through.

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
