God loves, God gives

“For in such a manner did God love the world, insomuch that His Son, the uniquely-begotten One, He gave, in order that everyone who places his trust in Him may not perish but may be having life eternal.”

God loves, God gives. He does not force, and He does not coerce. He loves and gives.

Gifts are not ours until we take them. The giver desires to enhance our lives, yet if we do not accept the present, the giver's generosity is wasted.

God knows our problem and has provided a solution for us. For now, the choice is ours.

Hope in a King?

And the Lord said to Samuel, "Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being king over them.
