There is no possible way to be healthy without God.

On the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, he made a feast for all his servants and lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants. He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand. But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph but forgot him.
Genesis 40:20-23 (ESV)

Joseph had everything go wrong that could go wrong. His family rejected him, punished him for doing right, and now he is forgotten. Satan used every trick in the book to mess with Joseph's mental health. Joseph had places he could place the blame for his apparent miserable life. Yet he remained hopeful.

God always works in our lives through the circumstances He gives us. I do not doubt that Joseph knew God had a plan and would work that plan even if Joseph did not understand the plan.

The Scriptures make it clear that God knew us before we were born, crafted us in our mother's womb, and has a plan and purpose for us. Joseph lived as if this was true.
Mental health is a huge issue in our nation today, and the root of mental health problems is people attempting to live in a Godless world. Without God, we have no plan, purpose, or hope, and each person does what is right in their own eyes.

There is no possible way to be healthy without God. So may those of us who know Him live in a way that compels others to want to know Him.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
