No Regrets Life

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works….
James 2:21-22 (ESV)

Faith does not just believe something; it acts on what you believe. Yet belief does not make anything true or false. Therefore, we must be careful to know the truth to ensure we believe something true.

Secondly, we need to be in the habit of applying the truth. So, for example, to say to those without food and shelter that you wish for them to be warm and satisfied is foolish unless you help them find shelter and food. Faith acts on belief, so we must be cautious to guard our minds and only allow truth to shape our thoughts.

But unfortunately, Satan recognizes the importance of belief systems and works diligently at getting us to accept various renditions of "truth," or, in reality, lies. Once a lie is believable and takes residence in our belief system, we are deceived, and further growth is greatly hindered.

Knowing God, the truth, is the essential factor to a productive, no regrets life, and if we know Him, we need to act as if we know Him, and that would be living by faith.

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
