The people were "satisfied" for now.

Numbers 20:7-9 ESVST Moses went to God. God answered the dilemma. The people were "satisfied" for now. This stopped the complaining. The people did not realize their complaining was against God, even though they directed it toward Moses and Aaron. My complaint today, too, is really against God. In this case, the situation of being without water gave the people a chance to trust God and see Him again pour out His blessing on the people. Instead, as mentioned in previous thoughts, the focus on being thirsty trumped any possible joy they could have possessed. It seems as if the mighty hand of God, which appeared to be on display,...
