Things Can Change

The Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded, and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. For a long time Israel was without the true God, and without a teaching priest and without law, but when in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.”
2 Chronicles 15:1-4 (ESV)
 
No matter how far you have run in the wrong direction, you must turn around before heading in the right direction. Step one is always the same for everyone. Those who have forsaken God immersed themselves in listening to the Godless and have no real church community to be a part of have no hope and no one to lead them to the only One who can give hope.
 
Things can change. Turn around. Take a step. It is far better than continuing to create hopeless distances.

Watch Him Work

But David said to Abishai, "Do not destroy him, for who can put out his hand against the Lord's anointed and be guiltless?" The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; against them he will thunder in heaven.
