For Those in Madison Wisconsin

If the teachers and others who are protesting in Madison really believed in their cause they should take whatever consequence comes from their actions. The idea of calling in sick and then getting a doctor to lie about being sick is unethical and most cowardly. These are not people whom I would trust in leadership positions. They have proven themselves liars and cowards. (Those that are actually doing that.)

Everybody certainly has the freedom to express their opinions and we have provision for such events. No one needs to lie or hate.

Likewise, the Democrats who left town for Illinois are acting quite immature. There are not a majority of Democrats in the Senate for a reason. They need to deal with the reason, not run and hide. (Some of us in Wisconsin would be willing to draw a line around Madison and give it to Illinois....then perhaps we could land grab the U.P. and all would be good!)

If those in Madison represent the unions then again, I would like to have nothing to do with the unions for the membership seems to be liars and haters while pretending to be concerned for the next generation and the union bosses seem to be fine with that.

The problem has been that throughout the last many years we have been a nation of pretenders. We have pretended that we care about the next generation while absorbing all their resources and making it impossible to for them to ever get out of the hole we dug and placed them in. We keep wanting our due at their expense. We condemn the deficit while fighting to keep our part of it. We talk about love for country, love of children while being willing to ruin both by how we live and act.

Democracies cannot last without the absolute authority of God, because eventually the masses become so self absorbed that those with power keep voting themselves privilege while heaping the responsibility on the less privileged masses. As self indulgence increases, the foundation becomes weaker and weaker until it collapses. Entitlement rather than responsibility creates a lazy society.

Those in Madison prove the point. They are interested in solving the problem, but not at their expense even though they spin it to be about some nobler cause.

The public worker in our state is well cared for. They are cared for better than much of the private sector when it comes to wages, benefits etc. (Check some of the private school teachers salaries or some other non-profit salary and benefit packages) They should be holding a rally thanking the state government for how nice they treated them throughout the good years and support the fact that there needs to be big changes to solve a big problem.

Then our state students would actually have a lesson worth learning from them. Until then, the parents of our state need to use them as a bad example of how one resolves differences. (Once again, we held an election, these are the results. There is another election coming up in a few years.)

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
