Regretful Decisions

But they broke faith with the God of their fathers, and whored after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, the spirit of Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and he took them into exile, namely, the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river Gozan, to this day.
1 Chronicles 5:25-26 (ESV)

The most tragic words in the English language are the following: "They broke faith with God." It is not as if God was not capable; it was that they were not positioned to participate in His capability.

We can be sure of victory if we align ourselves with the one who most certainly wins. This is not rocket science; it's common sense.

For some reason, we lose touch with reality. We begin to see the world and the events in history as revolving around us and our experiences, and we focus on our abilities rather than God's capabilities.

Those that do will regret that decision.
