Tarnished Legacy
The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, they found Saul and his three sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

Saul's successes seem irrelevant. His plans for his family's future were gone. His desire for his people was unfulfilled. His legacy was tarnished. Jesus would one day come in the line of David, not Saul. Things could have ended differently.
The Bible tells us the good, bad, and ugly; we should learn from all the examples about which we read.
What can we learn from Saul's example?
