Good Soldiers

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.
Ezra 5:1-2 (ESV)
You would think that doing the will of God would be easy. After all, it is the will of God. It is not an easy task, though. Whenever you are in the middle of God's will, you are in the middle of a fight. This is not a fight you have started or can win, yet you are in the middle.
We become good soldiers when we realize that the fight is not ours, that the enemy is subject to our Father, and we obey and trust Him to care for us. There is no other path to victory. Methods, schemes, and even prayer meetings will disappoint if trusted. Only God alone can be trusted.
