What is it that bothers me?

"As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me."    Daniel 7:15 (ESV)
Nehemiah was bothered by the fact that the city of God’s people lay in ruins. Daniel was bothered by what God was revealing to him. Nehemiah was not bothered because he himself would suffer but God’s reputation would suffer.
Daniel was bothered by a vision, its meaning, and the finality of events that were going to take place.
Those who know God should live lives that contrast those who do not know Him and sometimes they live “bothered” lives.
They are bothered by the fact that the Godless around them will come to a sudden and awful end. They are bothered by the fact that wrong has become the new right, that self is the new God, and that mankind has gotten in the habit of using what it should love and loving what it should use.
Somehow, Satan seems to be diligent at deteriorating the standard of life and making acceptable what should be deplored. What is it that bothers me?  Why? What does that reveal about me?

One day, we answer to God.

It is good that God does not depend upon our ability, faith, or goodness
